For the first edition of RE-Invest, 'Thought leaders' will debate with peers on the following topic "What is the future of fund management and is there a need for a new model?"
How does it work?
The MIPIM Real Estate Institutional Investors Summit is a unique three step process centered on open and interactive discussions. It provides a chance for key players to come together and enter into a strategic dialogue about critical issues facing the industry both today and in the future. The entire process takes place over the course of 3-5 months.
Step 1: Knowledge creation
We commission exclusive, unpublished research and surveys that identify some of the most important questions for today’s businesses. The findings are shared at the opening session and act as the basis for the Investors Summit debates. This research will be executed by our Industry partner IPE.
Step 2: Interactive discussion
An innovative debate/exchange is staged, enabling a dialogue between 40-50 ‘Thought Leaders’, from all sectors of the industry. Also by invitation only, the Summit will be followed by a lunch panel which will involve a wider cross- section of industry investment professionals. Tuesday, March 6, 2012.
Step 3: Knowledge distribution and dissemination
An 8-12 page document featuring commentary, analysis and interviews will be published to participants and circulated to the wider Real Estate Asset Management industry. (Note: upon the Thought Leaders’ approval)
