JOHN Harri

Job TitleConsultant

Company NameCushman & Wakefield

Harri is a Chartered Surveyor working as a Consultant within Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Occupier Services (GOS) EMEA business and Co-founder of CREation Property Network, an organisation which runs free events for people starting out in the property industry.

Harri joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2016, initially supporting the award-winning Healthcare Advisory team before joining the Strategic Consulting team in GOS EMEA which helps international corporations align their real estate to their wider strategic business objectives. The team combines deep labour analytics with workplace and real estate strategy to ensure clients tap into the right global locations and deliver the right footprint to engage and retain talent. Since joining the team, Harri has worked across a wide variety of sectors and clients, including involvement in large scale portfolio optimisation and strategic development projects.

Having herself come from a family with no property industry contacts, Harri recognised the challenges people can face entering the industry. She has championed her profession, speaking to school and university students about careers in property, helping to increase the visibility, diversity and accessibility of the profession for young people.

She is passionate about diversity and inclusion. As a graduate surveyor, Harri identified a gap in the networking scene for young people in the property industry and in 2017 co-founded CREation to ensure that everyone, no matter their background, has equal access to educational networking events and the chance to build professional networks from the very start of their career.

Harri has won a string of awards and accolades, beginning with the Women in Property ‘National Student Award’ in 2015. In 2018, she was named a Property Week RESI Trailblazer, BCO Graduate of the Year, and most recently one of Bisnow's 'Women who will Shape the Future of Real Estate'.

"Harri is a great believer that anything can be possible if you believe in yourself - It doesn’t matter where you come from, or what paths you have gone down before, so long as you have the drive and determination to make a change, step up and be heard."
