As partner in charge of Henning Larsen’s international projects, Jacob combines more than 20 years of experience with deep strategic insight and a strong commitment to the work of winning new assignments. Together with Louis Becker, Jacob has driven Henning Larsen’s internationalization to the prominent position it holds today. As a result of his leadership, Henning Larsen is currently engaged in projects in 12 European and Middle Eastern countries.

Jacob’s expertise shines through in his ability to develop site-specific architecture that is always rooted in a transparent and democratic Scandinavian tradition. Based on a strong belief that dialogue and close collaborative project development is the key to good architecture, Jacob always meets personally with developers and partners locally. Through the years, he has built up extensive experience in urban planning, commercial headquarters, cultural institutions and educational buildings – most recently with the trendsetting Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.

Jacob has taught at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in Copenhagen. He regularly gives lectures on Henning Larsen’s design method and projects, in addition to frequent participation in workshops and as a moderator in professional forums.
