Andra Ghent is the Lorin and Marjorie Tiefenthaler Professor of Real and the Academic Director of the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her current research interests are real estate finance, consumer finance, and financial intermediation. Her research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Urban Economics, Management Science, Real Estate Economics, the Review of Economic Studies, and the Review of Financial Studies. Her research has been cited in US congressional testimony and by several media outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Forbes, and Bloomberg. Prior to her position at the University of Wisconsin, Professor Ghent held positions with ASU, Baruch College, JPMorgan, the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, and the Bank of Canada.
