Michael is the General Manager for Microsoft’s Global Real Estate and Security organization. He is responsible for enabling every person and every organization at Microsoft to achieve more through the delivery of connected, accessible, sustainable workplaces in a secure environment. This involves the planning, delivery and operations of Microsoft’s worldwide real estate portfolio, and directing the full scope of the real estate life cycle activities. Michael also holds global responsibility for vital security functions including; operations, investigations, risk mitigation, crisis management, executive protection, strategy, and intelligence. Michael joined Microsoft in 2005 as the Director of Shared Services and has since worked in various capacities at the company including Senior Director of Microsoft's Internal Audit Group and as the Senior Controller for Microsoft's Cloud & Enterprise business.

Prior to Microsoft, he accrued thirteen years of business and financial management experience and served as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Alabama A&M University, and an MBA with a concentration in Accounting and International Business. In his spare time, Michael enjoys coaching youth sports, cycling, photography, videography, traveling, and spending time with his wife and three children.
