How does it work?
- Two Power Meetings sessions are scheduled:
- Indirect investment: 12 Institutional/indirect investors meet with 12 Investors/fund managers.
- Direct investment: 12 Direct investors/fund managers meet with 12 Project holders
- Before MIPIM even begins, Institutional/indirect investors and Direct investors are chosen to participate in Power Meetings as “the Anchors”.
- The Anchors book a table, where they stay for the duration of their session. Having specified their professional targets to the MIPIM team beforehand, they will meet twelve delegates who will be rotating from table to table as “the Satellites”.
- The Anchors and the Satellites will meet in short, face-to-face meetings. They will spend 4 minutes together, allowing the opportunity for an introduction and exchange of business cards. When the bell rings, the time is up, and the rotation continues.
