Subtitled "The City in 2050: The ‘New’ Public Private Partnership and Urban Competitiveness", this session examined how in recent years the public/private partnership has become increasingly important as cities around the world work to spur redevelopment, accommodate urban growth and define strategies to pay for upgrades to costly infrastructure. As we move toward 2050, public and private roles in the development process will continue to evolve in new and complex ways.
